Pragee Technologies LLP, operating PrompTick, is committed to the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies. This AI Usage Policy explains how we use AI in our Service, your rights regarding AI-generated content, and our compliance with AI regulations including the EU AI Act. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. How PrompTick Uses AI

1.1 AI Model Integration

PrompTick provides access to third-party AI models from providers including:

• Google (Gemini, PaLM models)
• OpenRouter (access to 100+ models from various providers)
• Other AI providers as made available

We act as an intermediary, routing your requests to these third-party providers. Each provider has their own terms of service and AI usage policies.

1.2 AI Features in PrompTick

We use AI technologies within our Service for:

• Prompt Optimization: AI-powered suggestions to improve your prompts
• Performance Analysis: Automated evaluation of prompt effectiveness
• Sentiment Analysis: Analyzing response tone and sentiment
• Testing and Evaluation: Automated testing frameworks with AI evaluators

2. Data Usage and Training

2.1 Your Data and AI Models

Here's how your data is used:

• Storage: Your prompts and AI responses are stored in our database to provide core Service functionality (versioning, testing, history)

You are responsible for:

• Implementing appropriate human oversight for high-stakes applications
• Ensuring AI outputs comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Testing for bias, fairness, and safety in your use cases
• Disclosing that content is AI-generated where required or appropriate

3.3 Intellectual Property

Ownership of AI-generated content is complex and depends on various factors:

• You retain rights to your original prompts and input data
• AI-generated outputs may be subject to the AI provider's terms
• AI-generated content may not be copyrightable under current laws in some jurisdictions
• You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content doesn't infringe third-party rights

4. AI Regulations and Compliance

4.1 EU AI Act Compliance

As of 2025, the EU AI Act is in effect. PrompTick takes compliance seriously:

• Risk Classification: PrompTick is generally classified as a limited-risk AI system (AI content generation with transparency requirements)
• Transparency: We clearly identify AI-generated content and provide this policy
• Data Governance: We maintain appropriate data quality, security, and documentation
• High-Risk Applications: If you use our Service for high-risk AI applications (as defined by the EU AI Act), you are responsible for compliance with additional requirements
